Tonyo is a celestial fox goddess of the stars and the moon, while traveling to earth for a visit she hit her head on a tree and forgot who she was and how she could get home. As a precaution the gods locked her powers into her glowing necklace so she can lead a normal life until she regains her memory and her connection with the stars. They sent small gifts like causal clothes, foods and human trinkets for her so she could fit in. There are many nights where she stares up in the night sky wondering why she feels she does not belong on earth. One day while roaming the earth she stumbled upon a shrine, near the shrine was a vengeful and evil Oni spirit who challenged Tonyo as he could see she was a goddess, with her power locked away she was not able to defeat the Oni and he corrupted her, a mix of celestial magic and the corrupted Oni spirit and the souls of those he killed mixed within her and now she has uncontrollable bouts of rage mixed with celestial magic making her grow horns, and her arms are marked with tattoos of the power she with holds in her body. She felt defeated and sad, and one night while the sky was at its brightest a rainbow of colors danced across the sky, and a small creature formed within the bright lights, it came walking awkwardly down from the sky to the earth and licked Tonyos face playfully. They were a gift from the gods to comfort Tonyo on her journey through the earth, searching for the way home. The little creature now tags along with Tonyo in many different forms but its favorite being a native creature to her home. It wears the same necklace as Tonyo to symbolize that they are the same and it can be trusted.
